http://www.letterstolalaland.com - How do you spend your summer weekends? Regardless if you are single or in a couple sometimes its hard to come up with fun things to do. I am a planner and I love trying new things so today we've put together a list of some of our favorite summer date ideas, let us know what you think: 1) Food Truck Date NightMost cities have at least one food truck event, where you can try some of the best food, grab some beers and hang out. Edmonton has couple food truck events (here, here or here) and well as Taste of Edmonton where you can try out local restaurants. 2) Walk through Botanical Gardens Most cities have their own version of Botanical Gardens. You can pack a picnic lunch, a blanket and go explore the beautiful gardens. (Edmonton and area botanical gardens here and here) 3) Couples (Friends) Cooking ClassThis is perfect for self-proclaimed chefs and those wanting to learn how to cook. Most cooking classes have themes, so do a bit of research to see what you're in the mood for, and most offer food and drinks are included. Where do I sign up for one with wine? (Class options here, here and here) 4) Library Date Night This would be my ideal date! There's just something romantic about wandering a bookstore or a library with a coffee in hand. Many bookstore/libraries have cute coffee shops as well. 5) Farmers Market CrawlSpend a day exploring your city or neighborhood farmer markets. What do you guys think?
