It was your typical diet combining years of dieting "know how" into a personally tailored version of a low carb., no sugar, "never shall a potato chip cross your lips", nutritional plan. It was all going quite well. I was feeling pretty proud of myself as the pounds melted off but of course the inevitable time arrived when I started feeling angry and resentful that I couldn't eat whatever the blazes I felt like eating, and I plateaued for a few weeks. Then, I put my house up for sale, moved out of it into my mom's abode, and installed renters in said house. Within 2.5 weeks the house sold. Within 3 weeks the renters moved out. Within 4 weeks the possession date rolled around and we moved our stuff out. Within 5 weeks we sold a piece of land we owned. Within 6 weeks we made an offer on a house we loved but as we were the second offer, we had to wait an excruciating 48 hours to see if we would get it. All of this activity worked it's magic on my digestive system and my weight plummeted. Also, my hair fell out in alarming amounts, but hey, who's complaining. I don't remember petitioning the heavens to lose weight AND keep all my hair. You've got to be specific about these things.And anyways, I can think of a whole pile of attractive bald people. Ok, not so much this one. And let's not forget the mighty bald eagle. I'm sure he's not the slightest bit bothered about being bald. Even though he's actually not....So anywho, my life is rolling on finally and soon I will be installed in my new home with nothing to do but wonderful home projects, which I will then post about because...I don't actually know why.And my recommendation for anyone looking to drop weight in an alarmingly short time period with very little effort (and being ok with losing hunks of hair), is to dramatically increase your stress levels. Don't take long baths. Don't take time out for meditation. Don't do yoga. Do welcome all risky ventures. Do try to accomplish huge amounts in impossibly short time periods.
