I am reaching out to our readers to ask for a little help. First, the backstory.

Just before midnight on December 3rd, our greyhound girl, Pugsley, began bleeding from her mouth. We rushed her to the emergency vet and she was tentatively diagnosed with Thrombocytopenia. She was given plasma overnight and in the morning, was bruising so readily (when a tech touched her arm, it left an immediate bruise) that the call was made to a critical care vet in our area.
