This post had to come. I will always miss travelling and The Joys of Travelling, however there are certain things I don’t miss and certain things I have missed while being on the road.

The joys of not travelling / the joys of being home:

NO cockroaches!! No flying or speedy crawling roaches. YAY!!
NO insane mosquitos – mozzies abroad are just so much worse
NO crazy size spiders!
Losing my English accent
Putting away my backpack (tears in my eyes)

Watching Finding Nemo with my nephew – he knows about the bridge auntie climbed and all the “fishes” I’ve been swimming with
Watching my niece obsessing over a frangi pani flower thingy in her hair
Rain at home will never be as insane as wet season in Bali and Cairns (survived both places without an umbrella)
