What is Time-of-Flight Camera and how to use one?

Posted By aditya29best 529 days ago on Hardware - According to Wikipedia, it is range imaging camera system that resolves distance based on the known speed of light, measuring the time-of-flight of a light signal between the camera and the subject for each point of the image. The artificial illumination may be provided by a laser or by an LED. Laser-based time-of-flight cameras are part of a broader class of scannerless LIDAR, in which the entire scene is captured with each laser pulse, as opposed to point-by-point with a laser beam such as in scanning LIDAR systems.
