Summer on the islands and mainland means Coast Guard Station opening and enhancement. These stations will be part of the radio chatter on boats in the surrounding area. Sometimes, something serious will come across.
"Semper Paratus" is the motto. "Ever Ready" is the meaning. The summer months are especially busy for the Coast Guard. They must be ready to serve ports and recreational and commercial maritime traffic.
