After a massive global pandemic and years of keeping their movies away from movie theaters, the steaming giant has agreed to let one of their original projects loose on movie theaters for a limited run. And Zack Snyder seems to continue his positive run after his cut of Justice League proved to me a major hit for HBO MAX. You just read right. Netflix has signed a deal with Cinemark to screen Army of the Dead in over 200 of their theaters for one week prior to hitting the digital streamer. It will also be screened at iPic, Landmark, Alamo Drafthouse, Harkins and Cinepolis which will bring its theatrical release to the 600 theater mark. But it will not be seen at a single AMC or Regal. AMC theaters have had a long and tumultuous relationship with Netflix and other digital screening outlets.Netflix has mostly strayed away from putting any of their original films in cinemas but have finally decided that they can make a profit, especially after huge budget movies like Godzilla vs. Kong, Wonder Woman 1984, and Mortal Kombat have all seen major returns on the dual format release. Army of the dead will be in theaters from May 14th to May 21st, one week prior to its streaming release. -CG (function() { var zergnet = document.createElement('script'); zergnet.type = 'text/javascript'; zergnet.async = true; zergnet.src = (document.location.protocol == "https:" ?
