https://www.redesignedclassics.com - I’m bringing back Mood Board Mondays! After such a successful go of sharing a new mood board every Monday in June I have decided to reinstate them. This time, however, I will be sharing a new mood board on the first Monday of each month. As today is the first Monday in August, it means that today is one such day! You can get all the details on this month’s mood board below.MASTER BEDROOM SERENE ESCAPE

Today I’m sharing a serene escape I created for a client’s bedroom. I wanted to design a space to escape and relax while creating the feeling of being on vacation in your own home. To achieve this spa like effect, I decided on soft neutrals with a subtle green for a contrasting pop of color. The furniture is crisp white, reminiscent of a beach front home on Martha’s Vineyard with lots of blue accents. Nothing is quite as sophisticated as a classy blue and white combo-in my opinion. Adding a colorful wallpaper wall adds interest while still keeping within the rooms color scheme. Wallpaper has come along way and this print is one of my favorites! The client was also in need of a closet storage solution and a new bathroom vanity as their’s sat outside the master bathroom and in the bedroom. An earthy area rug and natural materials like plants give the space an added calm and ground the room from being too “stuffy” feeling. To get this look in your own home click on the links below!
