How To Charge
Charging your e-bike, e-scooter, or e-board is very simple. Included with your purchase should be a charger for charging.
For an e-bike, you will usually need to remove the battery pack from the bike. Make sure to switch it off first for safety reasons. Then, place the charger into a mains outlet and connect it to the battery pack. Turn the plug on, and that's it!
For an e-board, you don't usually need to remove anything. You connect the charger to the main outlet and then to the board. Eventually, it will allow the charging process of the battery pack inside the board.
An e-scooter is being charged similarly to the electric board. You plug the supplied electrical charger directly into the scooter. Locate the charging terminal and plug it in, with the opposite end in a mains wall outlet.
These are general guidelines. Before you charge any e-rideable, be sure to check the instruction manual supplied with it. It will define what you need to do to load your specific model.
Some e-scooters and e-boards will indeed have removable battery packs to charge separately, so always check the manual.
On a lot of models, you will also find the battery charging indicator, which displays a percentage of charge. You can take note of this to make sure your device reaches a 100% maximum charge. Furthermore, most supplied chargers will show a charging light indicator when you plug-in the battery, which will notify you that it is charging.
Typically, this will remain red until fully charged, in which case it will turn green. Please wait until the indicator light turns green before you disconnect it.
We recommend always unplugging the charger from the wall outlet when the battery is full on any e-rideable. Leaving it in could damage charging capabilities and potentially even the battery.
The charging time for each model varies from 3 to 12hours long, and your provided manual should specify an estimated time.
How To Ride
Riding an e-bike, e-scooter, and e-board is different for each type - the one thing that remains the same across each is the electrical power supply and boost. Read on to learn how to ride these three types of e-rideable.
"E-Bike"
The general idea of an e-bike is to pedal around and ultimately sweat less and expend less energy, making hill climbs and the overall journey much more enjoyable and more comfortable.
For some, though, they appreciate a bit of a challenge.
Many modern e-bikes will provide you with this variety of options to suit your preferred level of difficulty.
Remember, there are specific requirements which influenced the different models of e-bikes. Some might be more appropriate for steep hill climbs to others.
First and foremost, be safe! Get an appropriate helmet and any other protective gear you want to use.
Second, you need to turn on the battery supply and put it in (if it isn't already). You should hear a distinctive "click" sound to signify that the holder is in place. You should also be able to check the battery level indicator to make sure you have enough battery for your trip.
Next, you will need to power on the e-bike. Typically, you do this with a power button located on the handlebars. You might need to press it once or hold it down for a few moments, depending on the model. You can quickly check your provided manual for these instructions, too.
If your e-bike has an LCD display, which most newer and modern e-bikes have, then this should come on after pressing the power button.
Next, you will want to choose your "pedal assist level." This is the level of difficulty preferred. Consider the trip you are about to take, will it be easy or challenging without the electric assistance? This should help you decide which level is best for you.
If the ride is going to be easy, maybe a pedal-assist level of 3 or lower will be sufficient. There are advanced LCD displays that indicate the travelling (speed) and how far you have driven.
If you want to get more of a workout, you can also choose to turn the pedal-assist off completely, but the display should still show you how fast you are going (if your model has this feature).
The next part of an e-bike you should understand is the "torque sensor." The torque sensor is excellent because it can help determine how much of a power boost to give you during your trip.
For example, if you are travelling on a flat surface and are pedalling quite lightly, the e-bike will give you a small amount of support. If it notices you are trying to pedal up a challenging hill or go quite fast, the e-bike will provide additional power.
If you're worried about the brakes, don't be! The brakes on all e-bikes are generally very powerful. If you brake suddenly, the electric motor will cut out, so braking is immediate. When you want to proceed, simply start pedalling again, and the e-bike will work its magic.
Once you have returned from your journey, be sure to re-charge the battery supply, so that it's ready for your next trip.

"E-Board"
E-boards are rising in popularity amongst many skateboard-lovers. Those who want to navigate seamlessly around their city or suburb is being popular.
E-boards can be a little more difficult to learn than an e-bike or e-scooter. It would help if you mastered your ability to coordinate but also because they would require the remote control to function and navigate it appropriately.
First, you need to make sure you find your footing on the e-board. In other words, know where you want to place your right and left feet - one will go at the front and the other at the back.
Next, you need to maintain a solid stance on an e-board, which is crucial for your safety and the safety of others. It's probably a good idea to get familiar with a traditional skateboard first before buying an e-board if you have never ridden either before. Also, be sure to wear a helmet with your e-board, just like you would normally!
Third, you can start to get familiar with your e-board with your supplied remote control. This remote control is essentially your "link" to the e-board because it's how you tell it to go and stop. Hold it comfortably in your hand.
Remember that each model can vary slightly, but generally, this remote control will have several things. The first is an "engage" button, which you will need to hold down to roll the throttle component forward, thus making the skateboard go ahead. By opening your throttle, you accelerate.
Respectively, roll the throttle component backward to "stop" the e-board and go backward. It is the part where you need to practice and get familiar with how the e-board moves simultaneously with your remote control's operation.
Next are the "ride modes." It would be best if you started in the beginner mode to get familiar with the e-board. The thrill and wild rides can come later with the more advanced ways, which offer quicker acceleration and braking.
The remote control shall indicate the mode you are using. The light might blink once, or there could be another type of indicator. It is best to check your manual for further instruction on your particular e-board model.
Once you find your unique stance on the e-board (correctly placing on the board), move the throttle forward to go forward slowly.
To turn your e-board, keep your knees bent and shift your weight to your toes to turn the e-board "toe-side" and shift your weight to your heels to become the e-board "heel-side." Simple, right?
It can take some practice, so take the time to get familiar with these movements before proceeding and always keep your eyes forward and focused on staying out of harm's way. It is easier to turn with increased speed, so try not to go too slow on your e-board. If you are having a hard time turning, you might need to pick up the speed a little. Alternatively, we recommend searching for some videos that can show you precisely what to do.
Once you are more comfortable with your e-board and have built up the practice, you can take on more thrilling moves. One of them includes the "kick-tail," which provides even more manoeuvrability. You do this by sliding your rear foot back towards the tail of the e-board - but don't lean too far back, or you could be in trouble!

"E-Scooter"
E-scooters are excellent for those who want comfortable transportation that allows them to experience the outdoors simultaneously.
Before using your e-scooter, stand it to an upright position. You might need to flip a latch to unlock it to this position, depending on your model.
Next, turn the power on your scooter. You do this by pressing the allocated "on" switch, which might need to be pressed down for a moment. If your e-scooter is equipped with an LCD display, then you should be able to view some information after turning it on. This might include battery life and distance travelled, for example.
Your e-scooter might also come with different modes that have set speeds. Be sure to set it to the first mode if you are a beginner.
