https://www.linkedin.com - Thomas Jefferson, an avid gardener, served two terms as the 3rd president, recorded the weather. He retired to Monticello, the mountaintown home shared with wife Martha. There he died on July 4, 1826 on the 50th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, of which he’s considered the primary author.
