As we have talked about in the past, The Toxic Avenger has had a remake in the works for a long time. While there has been talk about the reboot or remake, there hasn't been a lot of movement on it until this year. Earlier this year, Legendary Pictures announced that they acquired the rights to The Toxic Avenger and chose Macon Blair to write and direct the film. No matter how you feel about the last two Matrix movies, the next entry in the franchise is moving full steam ahead. With very few details known about the latest sequel, casting is still happening as the film continues production. Initially delayed due to the ongoing pandemic, Lana Wachowski is currently filming The Matrix 4 with returning cast members Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Annie Moss. It's been over a decade since Kingdom of the Crystal Skull made its appearance in theaters. And although Harrison Ford isn't getting any younger, he's back on set filming for the fifth and final adventure of the heroic Indiana Jones.
