Initially set for a July 2020 theatrical premiere, the pandemic has taken a toll on all release plans so far. The movie has once again been shifted to keep the film clear of other major release motion pictures. Although it's not a huge move, Morbius is now being moved from January 21st, 2022 to January 28th. This extension of the Sony Spider-Man universe really seems like it can't catch a break. Before his death, George A. Romero was working on another entry in his long line of zombie movies. His final chapter would have been called Twilight of the Dead. Today it's been announced that the director's wife has been secretly working on polishing his script for the unfilmed project and is now meeting with directors to complete her husband's life work as a master of the zombie genre. The Hollywood Reporter says that Suzanne Romero is actively seeking directors for the movie and is attempting to get the movie into production. Her husband passed in 2017 and left behind an amazing career of horror works. The next Transformers movie is currently being readied. With Creed II director Steven Caple Jr. helming the film few details are currently known but it may continue on from the Bumblebee movie which served as a soft reboot for the entire franchise. After multiple sequels in the Michael Bay series, the Transformers were given a new start when Bumblebee premiered in theaters a couple years ago. In an otherwise slow news day, we have a bit of crazy casting news. It's been announced that Mad Men's Vincent Kartheiser has joined the third season of DC's Titans as the mad doctor, Jonathan Crane otherwise known as Scarecrow. This version of the character is said to be "an inmate at Arkham Asylum who used to terrorize Gotham City using toxins to exploit his enemies' phobias". This will be the latest live incarnation of the character after Cillian Murphy played Scarecrow in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. The type of story works in short bursts or as cut-scenes, or depending on how old the game is in a paragraph in an instruction manual, is hard to expand on.
