Several weeks ago it was announced that Paramount was developing a new adaptation of The Man Who Fell To Earth for Showtime. Based on the Walter Tevis novel of the same time it was previously a film starring David Bowie in the lead role. Now dramatic actor Chiwetel Ejiofor will take up the main character in the series for the cable outlet. The story focuses on an alien that lands on Earth and is forced to confront his own being and humanity's future. It has not been adapted closely to the source material since the masterful 1976 film directed by Nicolas Roeg. It was Bowie's first ever starring role in a live action film. At 90 years old, Clint Eastwood shows no signs of slowing down. The actor and director is currently working on his next project, Cry Macho. The film which Eastwood has wanted to make for 40 years is finally in post production and has received a (hopefully) post-pandemic release date from WB. This weekend saw the four hour cut of Snyder's film take the internet by storm and has given HBO Max its biggest hit to date. Its ranking currently sits at 74% which is nearly unheard of with any comic book movie. Now, they've released new t-shirts which give us a better look at Deathstroke and Martian Manhunter.
