Deadline has just announced that the actor has officially signed on to board the next sequel in the John Wick franchise. He joins Keanu Reeves, Donnie Yen, Lance Reddick, and Ian McShane in the latest chapter of the gun play action saga. Second Sight: James Gunn's The Suicide Squad

http://www.spoilerfreemoviesleuth.com -  The superhero genre has been deified to the point that each new release has a potential to be a culturally significant touchstone or a violently divisive expose of fandom toxicity.  Expectations are atmospherically high as it is nearly impossible to please the endless social media prison yards and wild west saloons.  We live in an age where everyone has an opinion which will be heard and where an off comment or tweet can see your entire career end in an instant.  Safe, family friendly adventure films in which teamwork and sacrifice allow heroes to overcome their differences and rule the day is the formula, and there will be sequels.   Leave it to James Gunn to take the formula, run it through a pitch-black filter or blood, brains, and absolute mayhem to

This Is Not A Game: A Sequel To Josh Trank's Chronicle Is Officially In The Works

Posted By themoviesleuth 1147 days ago on Entertainment

http://www.spoilerfreemoviesleuth.com -  After nearly ten years it looks like we may finally see a sequel to Josh Trank's film, Chronicle. The found footage movie that was obviously influenced by Akira ended up being a financial hit for the studio and continues to have a large cult following. Although the movie was successful, the same cannot be said for Trank's career. After Chronicle, the director saw a string of failures and a firing from the Star Wars universe by Kathleen Kennedy. Now it's said that they are finally working on a follow up to the movie with a story that will take place a decade after the events of the first chapter. At the time of its release, it was fully expected that there would be a continuation but nothing ever came of it. It finally looks to be happening. Producer John Davis said that Chronic

Black Widow (2021) review. Not a typical MCU episode. One that celebrates and concludes the Natasha Romanoff persona too.

http://www.spoilerfreemoviesleuth.com -  Megan Fox is often perceived as a forgettable talent, relegated to family friendly action films.  Aside from her outstanding performance in Jennifer's Body, Fox has not been given a project that truly allowed her to showcase her talent.  2020's Rogue hinted at Fox's untapped potential, but it is S.K. Dale's thrilling debut feature, Till Death that allows her to shine.  Featuring an unforgettable central performance, an unnervingly tense script, and an inescapable ambiance of dread, this is an excellent piece of independent filmmaking. Trapped in an isolated, snow choked cabin while handcuffed to a body, Emma is in the fight of her life.  As a ghost from her past quickly descends upon the cabin, Emma is forced to embrace violence in order to survive.&nbs
