I am a sucker for street tacos. However, the reason why is not because of the meat or toppings, but because of the authenticity of the tortilla. The tortillas I love, and the ones I consider genuinely authentic, are made with corn flour. These are not the traditional yellow shells that we typically eat as hard-shell tacos, but rather a white tortilla that looks very similar to flour tortillas.

Camping… it is a term that usually means pulling a travel trailer or staying in a tent. However, in the last ten years, the word has taken on new meanings. Suddenly, glamping (glamour camping) has become a hot trend, and not just with lodging in campers, but in tiny houses and luxury tents as well.

One of our favorite attractions in Pigeon Forge combines both dining and a show, the Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Feud. If you are vacationing in the area, the feud is definitely worth the money. The Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Feud is clean, family fun for all ages.

Typically, our primary mode of traveling is with our camper. It seems that people either LOVE camping or they hate it. We absolutely embrace the lifestyle. However, when we do camp, it is in a camper. Sean and I are not tent campers; we like having a home on wheels with a bathroom and shower at our convenience.

In a virtual world, it is often heart-warming to visit people face to face. Last week, I took a trip to visit Sally B’s Skin Yummies. I had previously written about Sally B’s because I believe in the power of natural ingredients within skincare products. However, I had only experienced the products through ordering online; I had never visited the store. I was so glad that I made the trip.

Cooking is a passion of mine. One reason that I love it so much is because all food has origins and history. By making the recipes of others, you are bringing that history to life. Within the last year, I have really explored and expanded my education on Asian culture, and this includes cooking.

Last year while visiting Sedona, Arizona, we visited a restaurant named Elote. The restaurant was named after the dish Elote, which is actually a Mexican street corn. After eating the dish, I began researching the origins of such deliciousness. Elote, the dish, is often found for sale on many city streets throughout Mexico.

As a family, we travel over 100 days per year. Over time, we have watched some exciting trends in lodging. Sean, Jackson, Lucy, and I primarily camp, but there are times when we do not pull the camper, and we need other types of lodging accommodations. We have listed five travel trends that have grown in popularity throughout the last few years.

When I think of participating in outdoor adventure parks, I think of Sean and Jackson having a guy's day or reflecting on how brave I was in my younger years. On a recent trip to Mississippi, my perception pleasantly changed. We visited Old Mountain Outdoor Adventures, and they offered activities for the entire family.
